I love ground turkey, it's leaner and healthier than ground beef plus it tastes delicious. And when you add, black beans, spices, cheese and a few healthy toppings you will have a meal that will help melt away the pounds. Try this low carb recipe and let me know how you like it.

Turkey Chili

A delicious low carb meal that is sure to satisfy. Ground Turkey is a healthy replacement for beef and tastes wonderful. Pair this meal with a Riesling, White Zinfandel or medium bodied red such as Pinot Noir.

Instructions

  1. Brown onion, pepper and turkey in a big sauce pan. Pour in red wine, and all other ingredients.
  2. Cook slowly with reduced heat for around an hour.
  3. Serve with sour cream, chddar cheese, corn chips and guacamole.
