Happy Hour at Chops!
I love checking out happy hour specials in the Virginia Beach Oceanfront area, especially in the winter months because you don't have to deal with the huge crowds. I recently saw this Monday night happy hour special at Chops Restaurant- burger with cheese and bacon along with a side of fries for $6 and new I wanted to check it out. The happy hour specials are served at the bar, it's a really comfortable inviting area with excellent, friendly service. Chops is an upscale restaurant offering deliciously prepared meals and features great wine, cocktail, lunch, and dinner menus!
My husband Mike and I enjoyed a glass of their house wine before our meal at happy hour prices of only $5 a glass - excellent wines with large pours! Mike had the Pinot Noir and I had the Chardonnay, both were excellent, flavorful wines. Our burgers were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious! The fries were crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. Hat's off to the chef! Our bartender Ian was really helpful and attentive with great service! I can't wait to go back!
Getting to Chops is easy because it's right on Laskin Road (near the Neptune statue) in the same building as the parking garage. You can park in the garage or take an Uber.
