Love Song Happy Hour

After reading reviews of Love Songs food on Yelp I knew I had to try their food & wine! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw they had happy hour drink specials.

What did you have for dinner 2 weeks ago? I bet you can't remember, most people can't because it wasn't exceptional. That will not be your experience at Love Song. I'm always in search of a new dining exposure, something different,  a dish or two I can try to replicate at home. It's been several weeks since I enjoyed a meal at Love Song and I can still remember our dining experience because it was that delicious.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed conversation with some locals and the knowledgeable staff. We started with their happy hour exceptionally good wines and warm olives + chili, citrus. I've never thought to warm olives but after eating them this way encompassed with flavor I don't want to eat them any other way.

Next we tried the Mushroom Tartine that simply tasted amazing with a touch of avocado, so much flavor. If you like mushrooms or even if you don't I think you will go crazy over this dish!

We also had the Ricotta Gnudi  (a gnocchi like "pillowy" dumpling made with ricotta cheese instead of potato) and I'm longing for more. These are inspired chef dishes created and presented with love and caring. I am looking forward to my next visit and trying their other plates and platters.

With the expertise of their Chefs and Sommelier I personally would love it if they offered a Wine & Tappa Menu. I would love to taste their recommendations for wine and light bites parings. Three wines & three bites 😉 🍷

✔ The atmosphere is casual, trendy and friendly with a fantastic bar tender who knows her facts and info about all the array of wines they offer.
✔ Located only 2 short blocks from the Neptune statue on Laskin, convenient for walking vacationers or park in the free garage with the entrance on 32nd Street.

Next time you go out to dinner try Love Song, you will be glad you did.
