The perfect dessert wine.
Every once in a while I have a craving for an exceptional sweet wine to drink as a digestif or serve with a decant dessert such as a chocolate lava cake. My daughter Christen knows this and gave me a 2012 bottle of Elysium wine as a gift. And I have to tell you this wine is crazy good and sweet.
It's made with Black Muscat grapes with an aroma of roses and tastes like dark cherries and strawberries covered in sugar with a sparkle of acidity to help balance the sweetness.
Elysium pairs great with goat cheese or Gorgonzola or dark chocolate desserts such as chocolate lava cake topped with vanilla ice cream.

Thanks again Christen for the delicious wine. It was sweet but not as sweet as you!
