My blind wine tasting game for Thanksgiving
I’m keeping it simple this year!
This is the easiest wine game ever, plus it’s lots of fun, and all the wines will go with your Thanksgiving dinner.
Here are the easy directions:
- Get six wines ( I got 3 red & 3 white).
- When you buy the wines ask for bags to cover them with, or cover them with paper.
- Write the color of the wine and a sequential number on each bag.
- Have your guests taste the white wine first.
- After tasting each wine have your guests write (on my provided sheet) their name & guess of each wine name. (My provided sheet lists the wines I’m using so folks only have 6 kinds to choose from. This makes the game a little easier).
- At the end of the party you can tally up the results and see who could identify the most wines.
Here is a list of the wines I bought for this game:
- Merlot
- Sangiovese
- Cabernet Sauvignon
- Riesling
- Chardonnay
- Pinot Grigio
You can easily add, subtract or change wines from this list. If you want a dessert wine you could add a Moscato or Tawny Port.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
