My Favorites
When you are on vacation it’s nice to have a few restaurants picked out in advance that have great food, atmosphere and specials.
Here’s a list of my five favorites to visit on the South-side of the Oceanfront.
The First is the Sunnyside Cafe & Restaurant with free parking on Atlantic & 5th street. They have a great menu for kids and seniors with prices under $5!

Calypso Bar & Grill
For $2 house wine and cocktails & select beer (2-9 pm) & food specials (2-7 pm) check out Calypso’s Bar & Grill on the Oceanfront & 11th Street! They have fantastic nachos and a wide variety of food choices!

3. Best Bloody Mary Bar
If you are a Bloody Mary fan you can’t miss the huge Bloody Mary Bar the the 11 St. Taphouse. You get a large glass half filled with Vodka, you fill the rest with over a dozen different topping, and numerous choices of Bloody Mary mixes for a little over $3.

4. Best Sunset Dinner Specials
If you are looking for a delicious dinner at a great price, overlooking the boats on the inlet check out Rudees between 3-5:30 pm for their sunset Specials. They have fresh fish, Filet Mignon and a daily special. Print out the coupon for the $13,99 special from the link below.

5. Best Italian Dinner at the Oceanfront
Looking for an authentic Italian Dinner? Go to where the locals go – IL Giardino. They have generous portions of pasta, veal, seafood, chicken, steak plus vegetarian meals. Their piano bar area is cozy and inviting with live music.
