• I am responsible for all AOPA email marketing communications to a 400,000+ member base and a 1,000,000+ acquisition base. I develop, create and deploy 1,300+ emails totaling 24,000,000+ emails delivered each year.
Examples of emails and reporting.

• I also oversee an additional 300+ projects consisting of direct mail, Facebook and social media marketing, web pages, print ads, web banner advertisements and reporting on these efforts.

• I have decreased email marketing expenses while increasing response rates and reporting for AOPA.

I have increased email open, click, and response rates through A/B subject line and creative/art testing.

  Several examples include:

My AOPA Summit email art had 75% more registrations when tested against an agency creative. I was able to implement urgency to achieve this result.

My AOPA PAC email generated $150,000 in revenue, featuring the user fee issue. I was able to implement cause marketing/fear of loss to achieve this result.

  I provide a monthly email report and executive summary highlighting the best performing email efforts.

I create numerous Excel and Power Point reports comparing email tests that include an analysis on the winning effort and a “take away” segment on intelligence learned.
 
I consistently encourage collaboration and teamwork, as is exemplified by my conducting a monthly marketing meeting that serves as a platform to review, analyze, and give beneficial feedback on past, current, and future efforts.

Coordinated, scheduled and supervised all marketing campaigns and budgets for The AOPA Foundation Inc., The Air Safety Foundation, General Aviation Serves America, and the AOPA Political Action Committee.

Created campaigns with advertising agency (MRM Worldwide) and monitored, and reported on all campaigns for direct mail, telemarketing, website, and e-mail efforts.

Tracked all marketing expenses and revenue (net and gross) and response results on a weekly basis.

Approved, coded and submitted invoices to Accounting. Coded all efforts for accounting fundraising splits.

Extensive Excel and Database usage. Created criteria and pulled data for all efforts.

My Marketing Team generated more revenue in 2009 than any previous year for AOPA, through “Engagement” and “Cause Marketing” at its best.

Oversaw, responded and resolved all member complaints concerning fundraising efforts.

• Originated and created all of the Hunter Companies marketing, including: copywriting, websites, newspaper and magazine ads, brochures, TV commercials, mailer pieces, e-mailers, billboards, radio ads and internet marketing.

In a down real estate market I implemented a three week marketing plan including newspaper, radio and TV advertising to promote our 20 plus acre property Bluffs on the Potomac. I had a budget of approximately $200,000, our sales totaled over three million dollars. With good marketing, great sales professionals and teamwork anything is possible.

• Coordinated and scheduled all marketing plans, sales, and events with sales managers.

• Interviewed and video taped clients at sales events, edit video and upload to website.

• Purchased targeted mailing lists, negotiated and contracted vendors for: printing, trade shows and all media advertising.

• Tracked all marketing costs verses ad response results on a weekly basis. Extensive Excel, Sales Force, and Access
Database usage. Backed-up Small Business Server. Overssaw Cisco Call Manager, and pulled reports.

• I increased all leads 34.9%, with a 10% decrease in costs from 2005-2008.

• Trade shows: Reserved space, Set-up exhibits, and obtained potential clients.

• Supervised Call Center, "Telemarketing Department", purchased mail and call lists. Created campaigns and tracked results.

Created medical catalogs for Metropolitan Medical Company located in Winchester VA.

 In June 1987 I created the “Home Shoppers Guide Magazine” a monthly real estate publication that I sold all advertising, produced and published, covering the tri-state area of MD, VA and WV. This publication was approximately 150 pages per month. I maintained and serviced over 300 hundred clients a month. In December 1994, I sold this magazine to Ogden Publishing the owners of the Martinsburg Journal Newspaper, who is currently producing this publication on a monthly basis.
