Christmas Wine Game

I’m excited, Christmas is almost here.

cabernet-sauvignon-pinot-grigio-moscatoI love the holidays, seeing family, friends, opening presents, and eating delicious food! I also love wine and can’t wait to play my wine game. (I have created a new and improved sheet for you).

I’m going to test 6 wines in 3 tastings. The first tasting is between two Cabernet Sauvignons, the second tasting is between two Pinot Grigios, and the third is between two Muscatos, a red and the Thanksgiving white “Oak Leaf” winner. In fact all the second wines are “Oak Leaf”. It will be interesting to see which wines everyone likes the best and fun to see if anyone can rank the wines by price.

I’m making it easy with all the “Oak Leaf” wines being the same price so the “B” selections should be ranked 4, 5, and 6 in no particular order. I only have to make sure the “A” wines are ranked in the correct order. If there is more than one winner, write down a number from 1-10 and have the winners guess the number. The closest one wins.

  • Los du Bois Pinot Grigio $11.98
  • Oak Leaf Pinot Grigio $2.97

Tasting #3

  • Duplin Carolina Red Sweet Muscadine $6.99

tags-cabernet-sauvignon-pinot-grigio-moscatoI have updated my game sheet a little for my family and wine drinker friends, there is a place for each player to:

  1. Put their initials
  2. Number wines from the most expensive (1) to cheapest (6)
  3. Circle your favorite wine in each tasting
  4. Put a check mark next to the wine you like best
  5. There is an example to make the game easier for first time users

Download the pdf game sheet & have your own wine tasting game!

Keep making spirits bright – Carrie
