Le Yaca – Paris in Springtime 🍷

I have had the pleasure to dine at Le Yaca several times now.  This restaurant reminds me of Paris in Spring with light, fresh flavors, elegant atmosphere and wine choices. I’ve enjoyed both the dinner bar “bistro” menu and the fixed dinner menu. The upscale ambiance, crisp white linens and sparkling cutlery definitely sets the mood for a memorable dinning experience.

French onion soup I had in France.

I love French food. To me the item that stands out the most in French food is the sauce. The sauce tends to marry all the flavors together. Le Yaca does a great job bringing out those flavors with fresh ingredients presented artistically on a plate.

My favorite meal was the Lobster tail with lump crab cake and the Creme Brulee for dessert (worth the extra $8)! I enjoyed the onion soup but it's not what I was expecting. When I was in France (see photo)  the onion soup had slices of onions, french bread covered with broiled cheese. Le Yaca's version is a pureed soup with shredded non-broiled cheese. It was good, I liked the pureed version without the bread,  just wish they had broiled the cheese.

They have a superb wine list to choose from.  You can't go wrong with their Montinore Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (pictured).

Next time you want to celebrate a special occasion or just a delicious meal come to Le Yaca, for an enjoyable evening with delicious food!

Cheers - Carrie
