Champagne Taste - Beer Budget, try Mahi's!
I've been wanting to check out the new Mahi's Restaurant (formerly Mahi Mahs) in the newly remodel Double Tree Hotel (formerly Ramada) along Atlantic Ave. at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Last night Mike and I decided to walked over to check out Mahi's happy hour menu. They offer $3 beer, wells and select wine. $7 flat breads, $7 tacos, and $7 cheeseburgers and wings.
The new Mahi's is beautiful, elegant and clean. We each ordered a $3 beer and shared a $7 margarita pizza – blistered tomatoes, olive oil, basil, and fresh mozzarella. The service was fast, the flatbread was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. A large enough serving for two to share. I definitely want to go back and try the Seafood & Sushi bar, it looked fantastic. If you get a chance, go enjoy happy hour at the newest restaurant on the boardwalk that offers an elegant atmosphere, delicious food at cheap prices!
